Gas technicians install the pipelines that pass through buildings and neighborhoods. Their intervention is governed by strict safety and regulatory standards. In existing housing, the pipes are mounted on façades along visible, continuous lines.
The series Reseau belongs to a contemporary photographic practice attentive to urban infrastructure and the technical lines that structure the built environment. The conduits follow functional paths that organize the surface of the wall, transforming the façade into a linear composition.
Through photography, these utility networks become graphic forms. The wall is no longer merely an architectural support; it reveals an abstraction shaped by technical constraints and systems of circulation.
